Youth-KidScore2 Playhouse was designed for a new generation of stage-actors, screenwriters, and producers who share a passion for stage plays and want to learn by making their own projects in a hands-on, intensive program. The Playhouse opened its doors in 1999 in Long Beach parks and recreation — and has grown into a mobile program bringing workshops to cities nationwide.

The Show Will Go On…
Our complete curriculum, including detailed lesson plans and corresponding student materials, allows us and our students to explore the varied aspects of theater: Acting, Design, Directing, Writing, Music and Dance.
Yoga & Peace
Learn effective yogic tools to handle stress, anger, anxiety, and depression. Practice breathing techniques, flowing sequences, partner poses, restorative yoga, and deep relaxation. Private Teen Group Yoga available.
Community Workshops, Events & Youth Performances
Programs include Family Yoga Nights, Parent Wellness Workshops, Community Healing Circles, Wellness Festivals, and Youth Leadership Wellness Events.

Youth & KidScore Playhouse — Since 1999
The many different programs offered at the Youth Score Playhouse share a philosophy that balances in-class instruction with intensive, hands-on exploration. Each participant completes a series of projects of increasing complexity, engages in constructive critique, and applies experience to the next project — a continuous learning process.
